the perfect face wash

My name is Julie and I'm addicted to Pinterest. But then again I'm a girl, and what girl isn't? I love being inspired by others' ideas. And lately, I've totally been all about saving money and finding natural and cheap substitutes for anything. Well let me share with you, my latest love...

I've always had mild acne.. not bad acne, but not perfect skin. Since I was a teenager I've always been searching for the perfect treatment.. one magic face wash or gel that would zap my zits forever!!! Well, until someone finds a "cure" for acne, I have found a treatment that does give me great results!

     YOU NEED:
-1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil (you can get this at any health store and some grocery stores) $8
-1/2 teaspoon of honey $4
-Your regular exfoliator or facewash
-A headband (to keep your hair away from your face).. it gets sticky!!

First, take off any makeup you have on your skin. Next, take a 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil and massage it in between your hands until it melts.
Now take out the honey and pour about 1/2 teaspoon onto your hand! So now you have coconut oil and honey. Next, put a few drops of your regular facial cleanser or exfoliator. I usually just estimate the measurements.. it doesn't have to be exact! I'd rather not have dishes to do every time i wash my face ;)
Now just lather your hands together, mixing all of the ingredients together, and wash your face like you normally would! When youre done just rinse off your face, you may want to splash it a few times just to be sure that you get the stickiness off!

It's really that easy! Since I have been adding honey and coconut oil to my face wash, I have noticed clearer and softer skin, and it's only been about a week! It's such cheap and simple addition to my daily routine! I've also read that some people substitute baking soda in for their regular exfoliator, but I haven't had a chance to try that! If anyone does, let me know how you like it!
